The Venue

The Prospect Park Boathouse has it all – the natural greenery, the iconic lake and the historic building, a Beaux Arts landmark overlooking the Lullwater. With its Beaux-Arts style, white terra-cotta façade, and French doors opening out to a terrace overlooking the lake, the Boathouse enhances the natural beauty of the park.

That raining morning the ceremony was held indoors allowing the soft daylight to come through the floor-to-ceiling french doors. The venue is the perfect place for a romantic wedding or elopement, and even on a rainy day provides a picturesque backdrop with its serene lake and lush greenery.

The Decor

K Bella Events‘ vision was to create an absolute dreamy setting, enhancing the venue’s beauty and adding soft floral textures to the decor. Nava Floral created the most beautiful floral installation, adding the spring’s seasonal Lily of the Valley, which has quickly become a trend of the upcoming wedding season. The entire installation was a magic, most romantic escape in the middle of the never sleeping city.
